On October 31st, 2011 the Ernesto Cervini Quartet will be embarking on a 22-day, 13-city tour across Canada. Fresh off a 11-day, 4 country European tour, the quartet celebrates their much-anticipated new recording, There, which was released September 27th by Anzic Records. Recorded live at the end of November, 2010, at Cory Weed's Cellar Jazz Club in Vancouver, There, features Joel Frahm (saxophones), Adrean Farrugia (piano) and Dan Loomis (bass) and Cervini (drums.)

The album follows up Cervini's previous recording distributed by Anzic Records, Little Black Bird (2009), which received heaps of praise from critics and fans alike.

The gigs will feature special guest, Vancouver saxophonist Steve Kaldestad. Kaldestad has performed with the quartet on many occasions and he has been making waves across the Canadian music scene for many years.

The Black Box is located behind the
Kelowna Community Theatre(KCT) at 1375 Water Street.

The Black Box entrance is on the east side on the building, around back.
We suggest you park in the Main Library Parkade
and arrive a little early to beat the traffic.

There will be another concert taking place at the KCT on the main stage that
evening so do not use the front entrance on Doyle Ave -
you can't get to the Black Box from there!
