Submissions for the
Okanagan Jazz & Blues Society's

Submissions are accepted on an ongoing basis. However, most programming decisions take place at least 3 months in advance, so it is recommended that packages (including CD, bio, press kit, and complete contact information) reach our office 4 months in advance of desired concert date.

2010 Kelowna Jazz and Blues Festival

Planned for July 16 and 17

* * * * POSTPONED * * * *

We regret to inform you that our 2010 Kelowna Jazz and Blues Festival Planned for July 16 and 17 has been POSTPONED. Unfortunately, we were unable to raise enough financial support in advance as planned, and we believe our budget restricted marketing efforts would be washed-out in the media by other recently announced events occurring on the same weekend. We are currently looking at the possibly of downsizing the event and moving it to a date later in the year. We apologise to all musicians, agents, volunteers, suppliers, partners, and members involved for any inconveniences and hardships.

2010 - 11 Concert Series

Performance Date: September 4, 2010
We considering submissions from touring BLUES bands
3 x 45 minute sets, accommodations provided,
house sound and lights provided, no back-line.
Performance fee approx. $800.

Performance Date: November 20, 2010
We considering submissions from touring JAZZ bands
3 x 45 minute sets, accommodations provided,
house sound and lights provided, no back-line.
Performance fee approx. $800.

Performance Date: February 12, 2011
We considering submissions from touring JAZZ bands
3 x 45 minute sets, 2 dble hotel rooms,
house sound and lights provided, no back-line.
(Grand Piano Available). Performance fee approx. $800.
