The Okanagan
Jazz and Blues Society
was formed in 1990. The society presents a series of jazz
and blues concerts.
The society's
aims are to:
- nurture an appreciation for jazz and blues music in the
Okanagan;
- inform and educate the public about jazz and blues music;
and
- encourage and develop Okanagan jazz and blues artists.
As part of these objectives, the society maintains this Web site
and produces a newsletter for members. The society's
aims are implemented by its board of directors.
